Who is this for?

ScreenMe is for adults at average risk for cancer. It is not designed for people who have had cancer or who have a higher risk. Risk may be increased by gene variants, family history, or other medical factors.

Knowing whether you are at average risk is best worked out with a medical professional, or with someone who fully understands your health history, your risks, and screening recommendations.

Can you take part?

Check each statement that is true for you. I am 40 years old or older. I have never had cancer. I do not have a condition that raises my chance of cancer, such as a known inherited gene change. I can use a personal phone, tablet, or computer. My sex assigned at birth is female, male, or intersex/other.

Is my information private?

Your answers are stored anonymously for the study, with no name, email, or IP address attached. If you stop partway, your answers are not stored.

Is there a gift card?

After the satisfaction survey you can enter a lottery for a $50 Amazon gift card. Your email for the lottery is kept separate from your answers and deleted after the study closes.

Is this medical advice?

No. It gives general screening recommendations for adults at average risk. Talk with your health care provider before making decisions.
